Marketing first
I came into creative work through marketing and business — learning to think about audiences, positioning and why something should exist before deciding how it should look.
So, what exactly do I do?
I’m Hussein Akl, an Egyptian multidisciplinary creative. The titles have changed over the years, but the pattern hasn’t: I like understanding an idea deeply, then helping give it the clearest possible form.

Branding, graphic design, photography and digital experiences gave me the tools to turn strategy into something people could see and feel.
That curiosity eventually expanded into websites, software, products and independent projects. Today I move between strategy, design, technology and business depending on what an idea needs.
A few things I believe.
A good idea shouldn’t need unnecessary noise to feel important.
Beautiful matters — but usefulness, meaning and consistency matter with it.
The reason I move between disciplines is because each one teaches me something useful about the others.
